The crown chakra, or Sahasrara, is the center of consciousness, and the connection to the spiritual world and the energies of the cosmos.

It is located at the top of the skull.

When unbalanced, it causes a lack of focus, purpose, harmony and joy, irresponsibility, the development of ego and materialism, and detachment from spirituality.

A balanced crown chakra allows you to raise your consciousness and a good relationship with the divine, to enjoy the present moment, and brings calm and fulfillment.
